Set back in a strip mall, the Saigon Panda is an unassuming gem here in Sioux Falls. The staff is attentive, pleasant and willing to accommodate any requests you happen to have. Our family has it's favorites and were not disappointed in the least. The sweet and sour chicken is tender and not over cooked as happens at all to many area restaurants. the General Tso chicken was spicy, however not to over the top hot as to be unenjoyable. Myself, being a vegetarian I especially love the braised tofu with mixed vegetables in a brown sauce. Unlike to many local restaurants that feel canned mushrooms are acceptable, here you get to enjoy a variety of mushrooms as well as all the expected vegetables. The only down side would be the shrimp fried rice...bland, bland, bland. It would appear as though without the normal amount of MSG in the mix, this fell way short on flavor. Overall, I am throughly impressed with the Saigon Panda, the staff and the service. Next time I go (we will go again)...Vietnamese
