Best Restaurant in Sioux Falls!!!

Nothing beats this wonderful itialan restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is also just as good! The cajun chicken linguine is to die for, and so is the pizza and tiramisu... Sunday mornings the restaurant has a OUTSTANDING buffet that offers a variety of everything from breakfast to lunch. Be planned to wait at least an hour unless you have a party of 6 or more and can make a reservation... Give Spezia's a try, you will keep going back... It's absolutely wonderful!!!!

Spezia is so awesome! It is mine and my family's favorite place to go to celebrate a birthday or enjoy a DELICIOUS meal together! My favorite dish is, without a doubt, the giglio with chicken and asparagus. It is bathed in a creamy pesto sauce, and it is to die for!!!! I also love the cozy atmosphere Spezia provides. It is a WONDERFUL place to go!!!

Best Restaurant in Sioux Falls is Moving

Spezia has become our favorite restaurant to dine at in Sioux Falls. The meals are always wonderful and the service has been impeccable as of late. They will be moving this summer and will be closed for about a month during June? I don't know where we will go during that time, but we are getting in as many meals as we can afford right now. Check out this treasure.

Awesome pizza, sketchy service

I've been a long time visiter to Spezia, considering I've lived in Sioux Falls my whole life. One thing that has always remained constant is their "so-so" service. I find that their servers don't really cater to the needs of their customers. They tend to wait too long between trips to the table, or forget to bring out certain items (one waitress brought out our pizza but no plates and then disappeared). We've also received bread baskets with sliced wonder bread in them instead of the traditional loaf breads they bring to the table (that was one bizarre visit).
Considering you're paying so much for the food, I wish the service was better. The food itself is just "okay"- I've found most dishes to be bland. One thing that will keep me going back is their pizza- it is to DIE for! My husband and I love to split a margherita pizza from Spezia at home- that way we can avoid the crappy service!

Mashed potatoes with marinara sauce
|
Report Abuse

My wife loves good italian food but I am not the biggest fan. I ordered a steak that was supposed to come with noodles and marinara on the side. When my plate arrived the steak looked great but my side dish was mashed potatoes smothered in marinara sauce! Yuck! When I brought this up with the staff, they apologized and offered to bring me the noodles that should have come with my meal. My steak was mixed with the unusual combination of mashed potatoes and marinara and the best solution they came up with was the noodles that were supposed to be there in the first place.
