Best Wine Shop in Town Report Abuse
Very helpful staff and a huge wine selection. An employee spent 20 minutes with me explaining how to know which wines are good yet affordable. And best of all, I didn't feel even a hint of wine snobbery. I didn't try the cafe, but the selection looked good with a lot of gourmet foods that very probably can't be found anywhere else in town. I'll stop in here any time I'm downtown, if only to look around.

great selection Report Abuse
Great wine and food selection. Nice to have in the city, I haven't found anything that compares. Great staff and patio tables are a great place to spend a nice day in the city.

Horrible, Horrible service and attitude
We were planning on eating at the Cafe. We sat down in the restaurant and were ignored for 5 minutes. When the waitress finally walked by, we asked for a highchair for our 19 month old child. The waitress very, very rudely said they did not have them.
We waited for another couple minutes waiting for her to come back while we discussed whether we should stay. They had 7 people in the cafe at this point. We decided to leave.
As we were leaving the waitress finally came over and asked if we were leaving but did not ask why.
I went out to the shop as I had planned on buying several cheeses and pate to take home. The man who identified himself as the owner asked if we were not hungry. I explained the treatment we received. His only response was they will never have high chairs. After questioned on that in a "family friendly" downtown area he began yelling at us. They lost our business which would have been well over $100. Do not patronize this business if you have children!
