This is one of the first things we did when we first moved to Sioux Falls.
Tickets are $6 an adult. $1 for a sheet of different butterfly species (I recommend getting one).
When we first entered, I was a little disappointed at how small it was, but their large quantity and variety of butterflies made up for it. You could not take a step without butterflies crossing your path.
The staff there (I believe some are volunteers) were very friendly. An older gentleman started up a conversation with us, told us about some newer breeds that had come in, and encouraged us to stop in frequently to see what kind of new butterflies had arrived.
We will definately be going again.

Take an educational stroll through the butterfly gardens. Get a tour and learn about the many species they have flown in from all over the world. Learn how caterpillars turn into these beautiful creatures. As you walk through you?ll see a nice landscape of all sorts of plants and flowers along with the thousands of butterflies.
