What A Place! Report Abuse
I recently visited The River Walk and what great food! Try the stuffed porkloin, it is creative and delicious. You have to try the homemade Tiramisu, the best in town. As far as I know they are the only place in town that supports local music and local art. Be sure to look in the banquet rooms, there is tons of art there! You can bet I will be there listening to the Jazz and Blues.

Poor service, uninspired food Report Abuse
I went to the Riverwalk Cafe with a group of five in my party and only 2 other tables occupied, so one would expect quick service in an almost empty restaurant. It took the server 10 minutes just to take our drink order and another 10 to bring them and take our food order. 20 minutes so far. The food then took another 25 minutes to get to our table but one meal was forgotten and had to be reordered. I ordered the Fire Chicken Sandwich. What I got was a skinned chicken breast fried in hotsauce served on a dry bun. No lettuce, onions or other garnish, no condiments. The onion rings (which the advertise as a specialty) were 90% batter. My dining companion asked for a bowl of soup, was given a cup and told it was a bowl. After finding a manager, the mgr instructed the waiter on the difference between a bowl and a cup.

Poor service and uninspired food. I will not return there.
